Shimmer a night of FASHION, FUN, and CHARITY

It’s been a while since I have posted from the heart. I co-hosted a fabulous event last Wednesday night benefitting the YWCA of Metro Atlanta.

We collected clothes to benefit the Women in Transition Program. We want to thank ATLANTA for coming out and showing out. We were able to donate a room full of clothing to benefit this awesome charity. We would also like to thank all of our wonderful sponsors for donating clothing, time, resources, and prizes to ensure we had an awesome event!

A portion of the Shimmer Boutique 440 sales went directly to the Women in transition Program Directly. You might be asking yourself what is Shimmer 440? It’s the flyest new boutique on the south side of Atlanta. Celebrity Stylist Denise Niecey wanted to bring her sense of style to Atlanta. A Shimmer Girl can be a super slim chick or a pretty plus size diva. Their clothing range in sizes 0-18. Shimmer also have the shoes game on lock with shoes ranging from size 5 through size 12. Being pretty frugal I was delighted to discover that Shimmer’s prices range from $10 to $200. Definitely a spot for all pretty girls. Shimmer 440 was packed. Did I mention it was storming and after work? GREAT RESPONSE! So grateful!!!!!!!!!
We were blessed to have J. Michelle of Project Blaq there to cover the event. You know we will be dedicating a post to that video!!!!!! Check this sister out ;)
Nina HAIR SHOW Christmas conducted a live pin-curling demo to entertain/educate our guests. She has just as much energy as ME! I can’t wait to work with her again. Check her out at 11 Letters Salon
I want to thank all of our wonderful prize sponsors. We sold raffle tickets at $5 a pop. We had almost 30 prizes raffled. They were real nice prizes too! When you give you are blessed. #SHIMMER440
We were able to bless our guests as they blessed the Women in Transition!
Special thank you to our pretty MUA who did makeovers for our guests throughout the evening. Did I mention this was a FREE EVENT?
Sweet Love Affair (a mobile bakery) kept the evening sweet with her decadent desserts. A PRETTY EVENT is not complete without SLA!
The pretty girls of the YWCA seemed to be pleased by our party! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
