Toe curling, back scratching; “I think I’m in ecstasy“, sex is fantastic. Anyone who has ever had amazing sex can identify with the feeling. But, what would you rather have? An out-of-body experience every night or mediocre sex with a helping portion of love as a side dish?

Can great sex fool the body into thinking it is in love?  After all, being in love is such a euphoric feeling.  Almost like a drug.  So, when the jones strikes and you yearn for the wild sex; can you scratch the itch and find a deep love all in the same person?

Ideally, love should be the entrée to amazing sex. After all, if you love someone, you want to own their pleasure. You’ll want to be responsible for making beautiful music each and every night.  But, is this always the case?  Do we sometimes let our libido trick us into the arms and beds of the wrong person?

So, again what if you have to choose? Can you choose between two things that SHOULD go hand-in-hand, but more often come very separate?  If forced to choose, I’d rather mediocre sex with someone I love than to climb the walls with someone who can’t captivate my attention outside of the bedroom.  I think ecstasy can be learned as a couple, while love, long-lasting love; can’t be forced.  Once someone has captivated the mind, even if the body doesn’t come immediately; it will.
