Pretty Girls Rock Dresses is all about women and girls feeling good and feeling empowered. For the past 3 years we have used the dress as a symbol for not only femininity but for power, strength, and charity. At the end of 2013 I decided that 2014 would be a year of service. Initially when we started Pretty we had visions of creating our own foundations and doing charity individually. I believe that this platform can and should be a siren to help spread charitable news around not only Atlanta but around the country. I am excited to share that our good friends over at Enchanted Closet Atlanta is kicking off their 2014 Prom Dress Season on Thursday February, 6, 2014 at Emory Village’s Purple Corkscrew Wine Room by hosting its First Enchanting Lives Prom Dress Drive.
When we started Pretty Girls Rock Dresses we were all about giving back and most of our charitable events involved collecting dresses for young women going to prom. I have decided to lend our platform to Enchanted Closet to help raise formal dresses, shoes of ALL sizes, jewelry, new and unused makeup and toiletry items to outfit at least 500 girls. Monetary donations are also needed to help with dry cleaning and alternations expenses.
Kudos to the pretty ladies over at Enchanted Closet for being oh so pretty and look forward to hosting a Pretty Girls Rock Dresses DRESS DRIVE event. There’s definitely power in the DRESS, PURSE, and STILETTO!
