Swimming and your hair
This morning while washing my hair I begin to think about my summer hair styles and activity. Swimming is a wonderful form of exercise and relaxation. Going to the beach and playing in the pool is great for your body but TORTURE on your strands.
Guides to have your pool & chlorine:
1. Soak your strands with water and conditioner. The conditioner will act as a buffer b/w your strands and chlorine.
2. Understand that a swimming cap does not protect your hair from chlorine. Swimming caps help the swimmer glide through the water. It is not designed to protect your precious strands from chlorine.
3. Be sure to wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo and deep condition. The clarifying shampoo cleanse your hair and scalp of the chlorine and the deep conditioner restores your moisture balance.
4. HAVE FUN!!!
