One of my favorite trends of the season has to be the tribal prints. This trend introduced during the Fall 2011 season and has now exploded into summer 2012. The trend consists of signature bold, graphic black & white geometric prints, tribal prints also incorporates pops of color (yellow, red, neons), neutrals (tans, hints of brown), and textured accents (straw, sequins)
There are several ways to incorporate tribal prints into your wardrobe. If you’re not ready to make the plunge and wear a “full” tribal outfit start with your accessories first. By accessorizing you can incorporate the trend into your wardrobe without making a full commitment.
Let’s start with the accessories, try a chic clutch to enhance you day look:

The following bag was featured on Harper’s Bizarre.com 10 under $100 Summer Raffia Accessories

- Shoes are also another way to try this trend without committing, choose a print that will give you that pop with your power suit or give that dull day dress the drama it needs.

You can either go budget conscious with a wedge from Aldo, Stremlo $54.98

Or treat yourself to a splurge, like this shoe from BCBG Max Azria Varushka studded raffia sandal $325

Next is the best part of this trend—-THE CLOTHES!!!!!
With bold prints and geometric patterns, you can easily add new life to that boring old black skirt or pair of favorite jeans you own.

If you’re not a fan a of prints, start out with a simple black & white or ikat print that you can pair with trousers and a blazer.
If you want to go even bolder or try out an effortless look, why not just try a printed dress. It’s a no brainer outfit, no need to do anything but add a neutral shoe & bag and your good to go.
