Mocha Moon founded by Atlanta single mom, Lori Louis, is a luxury accessory line designed with the needs of the modern woman in mind with the introduction of its chic cosmetic beauty case, The Perez and matching tote bag. Mocha Moon seeks to make the lives of the busy woman a little simpler and a lot more fashionable.

The Perez Bag is a radical departure from yesterday’s plastic cosmetic bag; its faux leather exterior in Mocha Moon’s signature rich mocha easily out-styles every other cosmetic bag on the market. The ultramodern, innovative design simplifies every woman’s beauty routine by providing a place for everything — from lipstick to brushes — with room to spare, eliminating the need to search through cluttered bags and makeup drawers. This compact and lightweight organizer is perfect for home use and travel. Its two removable, transparent pouches fit easily in a purse or the matching Lori L. Tote bag.

The Perez Bag was born from Lori’s frustration with digging through her cosmetic collection for buried makeup.
“I needed to simplify my beauty routine because it took me longer to find what I was looking for than to actually apply my makeup,” she explains. “I understand how hectic life is for today’s business woman and moms on the go because I live it,” says Lori Louis, “Not only do we juggle multiple appointments, we have to consistently present a polished image to our clients.”

Mocha Moon, announced the official launch of their crowd funding campaign with Indiegogo which allows contributors to save nearly 50% off on Mocha Moon products while supporting Beauty & Books, a 501c3 non-profit organization benefiting My Sister’s Place, the largest women and children’s shelter in the Atlanta area.

While Mocha Moon’s mission is to make lives easier and help busy women get more organized, funding of Mocha Moon also helps support Atlanta Mission’s women’s shelter, My Sister’s Place. A percentage of each Mocha Moon sales are donated to Beauty & Books, a 501c3 non-profit organization benefiting My Sister’s Place, the largest women and children’s shelter in the Atlanta Mission. The Beauty & Books Program partners with Homeless Shelters in the surrounding Atlanta Areas and the Atlanta Mission to provide these facilities and their patrons with many of the necessary life skills needed to help get their lives back on-track. Services include: resumes workshops, job readiness, and the basics like filling out job applications, encouraging them to further their education and guiding them towards financial air resources and social programs. Beauty & Books takes extreme pride in education donating books to women and children and conducting “story time” for the youth to promote reading. Beauty & Books has also helped individuals get internships and jobs while they are living in shelters. Louis’ future plans are to partner with a cosmetic firm to fill the Perez Bag with cosmetics and toiletries, and donate the filled Perez Beauty Cases to women’s shelters.

“Our Mocha Moon crowd funding campaign is an awesome opportunity for people to help a local small business do BIG business (#helpasmallbusinessdoBIGbusiness) while getting some awesome products at a deep discount,” shares Lori “We’re so excited that an opportunity has been presented for us to bring Mocha Moon to a home shopping network, but we need additional funding to help expand the line. Mocha Moon has several other colors in production that we’d like to introduce, but we have to be ready to meet the demand.” Your financial contribution at www.indiegogo.com/mochamoon will support Mocha Moon’s expansion and get you a Perez Beauty Case at nearly 50% off before they hit major retailers.”
